Thank you for your interest in Christ the King High School.
Christ the King's administration, faculty and staff are dedicated to ensuring your child reaches a high level of achievement by helping them grow academically and spiritually. Our students are empowered to become independent thinkers and moral leaders in this ever changing world.
The Admissions Office is here to help you navigate through the admissions and application process and to make your child's transition from elementary/middle school to high school an easy one.
Families of 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to attend our Open House. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet the administration, teachers, students and current parents and see all the exciting programs Christ the King has to offer.
This year's Open Houses are on Saturday, October 5th from 10am-2pm and Wednesday, October 23rd from 6-8pm. Please click here to register for either Open House.
Admissions Requirements:
- Acceptance into Christ the King is based on your score on the TACHS, 6th, 7th and 8th grade report cards, lateness, absences, conduct and comments.
- You can register for the TACHS Exam or get more information about the Exam by clicking here.
- Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who choose CK as their 1st choice and in some cases, second choice. We offer full and partial scholarships.
- Academic Scholarships are awarded based on your score on the TACHS in addition to the criteria listed above. (Awards and scholarships are only awarded to incoming 9th graders. They are not awarded in any other grade.)

August 26, 2024 Registration for the TACHS Exam opens. Visit www.tachsinfo.com to register.
October 24, 2024 Deadline for submitting request and supporting documentation to the diocese for extra time.
October 30, 2024 Deadline for registration for TACHS Exam.
November 6, 2024 You will receive an email with student's test date, time and code.
November 9, 2024 Deadline for entering your high school choices at www.tachsinfo.com.
November 8, 2024 TACHS Exam for Archdiocese of New York.
November 9, 2024 TACHS Exam for Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens.
November 9, 2024 TACHS Exam for Diocese of Rockville Centre.
December 11, 2024 Paper TACHS Applicant Record for public school students due to top three choice schools.
December 15, 2024 Deadline for filling out Christ the King High School application. Click here to apply to CK
January 15, 2025 Admission letters released.
January 31, 2025 Christ the King Accepted Students Day
February, 2025 Christ the King high School registration due for 2025-26 academic school year.
