welcome to Christ the King High School where faith and education unite to shape tomorrow's leaders for over six decades Christ the King has been committed to a challenging Academic Program Spiritual Development access to cutting-edge technology dedicated faculty and a structured environment we offer numerous extracurricular activities and boast a nationally-recognized athletic program some key facts about her school include being an independent co-educational Catholic school with 650 students accredited by the New York state border with a fixed tuition rate uniform policy and the provision of Chromebooks to all of our students Christ the King is a hub for educational advancement both sinks state-of-the-art facilities like a fabrication lab and Z space lab fabrication lab offers Makerspace stations for virtual reality 3D printing drones robotics AI laser cutting and more while the Z space lab provide immersive augmented and virtual reality clearances for Christ the King we understand the importance of technology which is why we want the best for our students in this ever-changing world by overhauling our certification program not only including Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel we've also branch how to Autodesk Inventor as well as ic3 certifications we've offered up new courses including cybersecurity incorporating our fabrication lab as well as AP Computer Science Power by Amazon future Engineers by offering a wide variety labs for students we give them the opportunity to not only learn but experience the technology we have a Windows lab for most of our office work and a Linux lab to really get into the coding  back with our Focus for software development we give our students their best head start for their college career we're like best about Christ the King or definitely its teachers and the atmosphere regarding the student body I've made many great friends here and had great moments with teachers and felt like they really connected care about the students at Christ the King I'm involved in many different activities such as the robotics Club where we innovate and try and create new products when I first started working at Christ the King last year I was really impressed with the teachers dedication to their students and their commitment to making sure that every student feels welcome safe and heard here in the building in the classroom on the on the field really in a lot of different dimensions the teachers are committed to helping the students maximize their potential and and achieve their high goals we teachers have high expectations for the students here but we support the students so that they can meet those expectations our dedicated faculty nurtures a love of learning and encourages critical thinking in every student as a member of the Christ the King Community since 1989 can safely say that this school has been a hugely influential part of my life as a c k student I forged lifelong friendships I grew my love of teaching I met my husband is a c k graduate and just recently had my oldest son Danny graduate mck with almost a full scholarship to st. John's University Pharmacy program as a teacher here for 25 years I have made it my mission to encourage my students to reach their fullest potential and now I'm so excited and proud to have my her son Joseph coming into his freshman year to continue the war Legacy in just a few short weeks I've already become actively involved in becoming part of the royal family as I begin my school year as a member of the football I'm aware that we challenge the exam my class is especially in my honor level courses I look forward to painting my own path towards a positive and successful future and I know CK is a bus pass for me to be an excellent theater program I actually auditions for the theater scholarship and receive the full scholarship at Christ the King Christ the King is everything about it the people the teachers and I'm really starting to feel like a part of the Christ the King family at Christ the King our students are just learning they're discovering innovating and solving real-world problems with your teachers and fellow students all in a family atmosphere I really love the campus at Christ the King it makes me want to come here every day when I fix the class did you just make me feel like that they're my family and my friends as well they pushed me to my limits and they help me to do the best that I can do I'm a member of the speech and debate team and disappearing push me to be the best I can be at Christ the King we have a 100% graduation rate and 100% College acceptance rate last year's graduating class secured over 31 million dollars in scholarship from some of the top ranked colleges and universities in the country such as Harvard Yale Columbia Notre Dame and mighty NYU Stanford to Cornell Carnegie Mellon Boston University University of Pennsylvania and Villanova just to name a few rooted in Catholic values faith is a vital part of daily life at Christ the King teaching of the Catholic faith is designed to enable our young men and women to live lives for others in the spirit of the Gospel an important element involved in this effort is service to others not only at school but also in the larger community hello my name is Deacon pull Norman I have been on the faculty of price King High School for the past 40 years I am the chat person of the Department of religious studies not only am I the chairperson of the of the religion department I am also in the love of Christ the King class of 1977 my wife four daughters and sister and other fan members are also alarm of Christ the King High School so what is you could see CK is not only where I come to work each day but is also an integral part of my family Christ the King High School truly is committed to persevere and grow hair on Catholic charity so that our school community may continue to grow and flourish and send forth students into the world that really will truly make a difference we hope you choose to become part of our Christ the King family and we look forward to working with you and your children Beyond academics and spirituality we encourage students to engage in a wide range of extracurricular activities from Theater Arts and Music to Student Government broadcasting and speech and debate just to name a few on the field in the gym or on the court are renowned Athletic program in still 20 Mark and determination Christ the King has produced stars in the MLB NBA and WNBA with both men's and women's teams excelling in league and state championship we're all so proud to have Envy Superstar LeBron James be a sponsor of Christ The King's Athletic program my name is Dwayne. From here Christ the King and I I'm on the basketball team one thing I like about cars that can move that all the teachers at nice everybody everybody knows everybody and everyone is good at what they do and they show a good amount of support on and off the court our school offers a sense of belonging dedicated teachers a family atmosphere and a commitment to academic excellence in the faith driven in by hi my name is Maya. And I'm a junior here at Christ the King and my name is Lana I'm a freshman at Christ the King over the past two years but has been attending the school I have both of growing connection between me and the Christian Community the teachers are so helpful and the students are extremely welcoming and friendly the staff is always there for me Journey time they're there whenever you need them during the time my sister has been attending Christ the King I've been going to many sporting events such as basketball games and volleyball game to get a better idea of the school Community the students are very welcoming to new faces and that one will have a place to stay at the school this club has a speech to be broadcasting the theater or Sports such as soccer basketball or football everything is fine they're passing here and expands on it I was supposed to be a team travels to Harvard to speak at our basketball team travels all over the world we have an amazing National Honor Society which opens up many opportunities for the future we also offer amazing AP classes and honors classes which prepare you for college new years ago when I came to open house with my sister I know this will be the best fit for me I'm so excited to spend the next two years with my sister and I'm more than happy to grease the next incoming freshman see you next year at Christ the King our graduates leave as confident compassionate and well-rounded individuals
